Mercure Melbourne Albert Park Hotel, Melbourne

The hotel left a lot to be desired with a long distance from reception or the lifts, but to our surprise, there were some convenient features such as proximity to a tram stop and the Albert Park Lake. The dining experience was disappointing, and service fell short in various ways, including delays and unmet requests. On the positive side, the location was quiet and clean, perfect for business events.

The hotel provides good value for money with spacious rooms and a great location. However, there were some cleanliness issues and a missed day of room service was disappointing.

The hotel rooms were clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful, polite, friendly, and accommodating. However, there were issues with key cards not working, leading to a frustrating experience.
